As we continue to grow and adapt to the evolving industry, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support our Telecommunications Business Unit headquartered in York Pennsylvania. .

 

Primary responsibilities will be to support the day-to-day onboarding and recruitment of our Union workforce as well as professional roles.  This is an entry level position with growth opportunity to increase responsibilities to include coordinating employee programs, employee relations matters and other HR initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and passionate about delivering excellent HR service in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation, orientation scheduling, and equipment coordination
  • Support the recruitment process including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS and ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Assist with benefits administration, leave tracking, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate employee engagement programs, trainings, and company events.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations.
  • Support performance management and review processes.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and metrics for management.
  • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR initiatives and process improvements.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or coordinator role; experience in the telecommunications or technology industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
