The Scheduler plans and prepares schedules for mid-size projects/programs within an assigned Region or Division, coordinates the collection of relevant data points, and monitors project progress. The Scheduler will understand the major business components and implications specific to scheduling for Construction Companies and ensure compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established Project Management Methodology and upholds H&M safety and quality management protocols.
Under general guidance, the Scheduler supports the Project Team by preparing, monitoring and revising resource and cost loaded construction or installation schedules. The role also produces critical path analysis and status reporting, and develops recovery plan/what-if schedules as required.
The Scheduler will develop and implement scheduling guidelines and should be skilled in following detailed procedures to differentiate between H&M and customer schedule impacts. This role is also responsible for monitoring compliance with the H&M Project Management Methodology (PMM) and associated scheduling and control standards.
Additionally, the Scheduler will interface with various internal and external stakeholders on planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements and progress reporting while communicating effectively with operations to ensure timely completion of schedules and projects.
